Final Day Wear Dress. |
Well I survived! Finished my first year of fashion communication at Ryerson. Can't believe it's already over, feels like just yesterday that i was moving to this crazy city. Now it just feels like my second home. Met so many amazing people and accomplished so much in such a short period of time. The best part of being done first year? NO MORE SEWING. Ever. Again.
People don't understand but in fashion communication I won't have to do any type of clothing design or making of the clothing after first year. Communication has to do with the some of the business side of fashion as well as creative parts such as fashion journalism and event planning. So I'm so excited to start these courses next year and finally start doing the things I love!
Going to start doing some lifestyle posts as well on here so I thought this would be a good way to start. Heres the portfolio I handed in as well as my final sewing project, a daywear dress inspired by WWII uniforms. Hope you like them... Heres to summer vacation & new adventures!
